Simon Wine Emporium is a unique destination in the heart of Stellenbosch, where you can explore the finest wines from the renowned Stellenbosch Wine Route. Housed in an 18th-century Cape Dutch building, our wine lounge is dedicated to offering a diverse selection of wines from the region's top wineries.
As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a display of wine bottles, showcasing an impressive range of wines from areas like Greater Simonsberg, Stellenbosch Berg, Stellenbosch Valley, Helderberg, and Bottelary Hills. Our collection includes award-winning wines, rare vintage selections, and 'old vine' wines from vineyards over 30 years old.

30 July | Award winning Pinotages from Stellenbosch
This year we celebrate 100 years of this home-grown variety. To celebrate this milestone we will be tasting some of the award winning Pinotages from the Stellenbosch region, followed by a menu complimenting the unique flavours of this variety.
13 August | Strydom – a family affair
Louis and Rianie Strydom have over the years made huge contributions to the Stellenbosch wine making scene – Louis currently as cellar master at Ernie Els Wines, and Rianie for the last two years at Cavalli Estate. Their son, Jean-Louis, has recently taken over the reigns at the family winery, Strydom Vineyards.
Each of them will present their selection of wines from the respective ranges of Ernie Els, Cavalli and Strydom Wines, in this family affair evening, followed by a curated dinner prepared by our chef.
17 September | Quoin Rock and Knorhoek
Over the last few years huge amounts of money have been invested in the redevelopment of this estate and re-establishment of the Quoin Rock brand. Slowly but surely this is paying off with Quoin Rock carving a niche for itself in the premium wine category, and Knorhoek winning top accolades for its Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
